Brandman's Partnership with WFC
As an associate member of the WFC, Brandman University extends a $50
per unit tuition discount ($150 per 3-unit course) off of the current civilian tuition rate in existence at time of enrollment.
The discount applies to all undergraduate and graduate degree offerings at the Washington State and Online Campuses with the exception of Nursing programs (BSN and DNP). It will remain in effect for the duration of your academic time at the University, provided you do not miss more than two or more consecutive sessions and remain a member of WFC.
Brandman Accepts Your Recruit Academy Training
Brandman will award 12 undergraduate general elective credits for successful completion of the 440 hour Recruit Academy Training provided by Washington State Fire Training Academy. This training must include:
- Fire Fighter I
- Fire Fighter II
- Hazardous Materials Awareness Response
- Hazardous Materials Operations
If this training has also been transcripted and accepted by a Washington State regionally accredited community college, that confirmation of credit hours will be counted in lieu of a separate articulation of the Recruit Academy Training.

Brandman offers convenient evening and online classes, and one-on-one academic advising to help you earn your degree while maintaining your job responsibilities. Financial aid, military and VA benefits are available for degree seeking students. Classes at Brandman are held in 8-week sessions 6 times a year, so you can complete your degree quicker.
