Affordable Tuition - $120 Per Credit Scholarship
Brandman University is investing in exceptional teachers who aspire to assume more responsibility and expertise in their school or district. The opportunity to participate in this scholarship results in a great savings on tuition. The scholarship applies to the Master of Education degree for sessions beginning within the 2013 calendar year.
A minimum of 15 students is required for a cohort to begin. The scholarship is for up to $3,600, prorated over the life of the program of 30 credits. The scholarship amount is $120 per credit. ($120*30 credits= $3600). Brandman tuition is subject to change, but the scholarship amount remains at $120 per credit over the life of the program.
About The Degree
The Master of Arts in Education (MAE) is designed for individuals seeking career or advancement opportunities in education or related fields. Learning outcomes include: research, democratic principles, global perspectives, learning theory, curriculum design and ethics. The program requires 30 units of completion for graduation (18 core credits, 12 emphasis credits).
The Leadership in Early Childhood Education emphasis is the ideal advanced degree if you’re interested in becoming an administrator, director or college instructor of early childhood education programs. You’ll learn to develop innovative curricula and evaluate early childhood education programs using standards set by the National Association for Education of Young Children. Subject matter includes theories, issues and trends in early childhood education as well as the development of fiscal planning skills, marketing, human resources, and leadership skills necessary for managing an early childhood program
