Academic Programs

Through the partnership, Brandman is offering a $90 per credit scholarship toward program tuition for Brandman University's School of Education Master's Degree Programs.

Students will attend classes on campus once a week. In between class meetings, students will go online to access course material and discuss assignments with their peers. Academic programs may vary by campus. *A minimum of fifteen students is required for classes to be offered. Local Brandman Campuses include: Irvine, Riverside (Formerly Moreno Valley), Ontario, Palm Desert and San Diego.

MA, Educational Leadership & Administration w/Admin Credential, Tier I
Campuses: Irvine, Moreno Valley, Ontario, Palm Desert and San DiegoThe Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration program helps develop and enhance your dynamic, high-performing administrative leadership skills for the renewal and improvement of schools and school systems. The curriculum focuses on leadership models, supervision of personnel, implementation of policy, and the legal and social issues that affect the school system.

Campus: Irvine OnlyT - his program is designed for a collaboration between a District/County Office of Education and Brandman University to design a Master’s degree program passed off the District/County Office of Education Tier 1 or Tier 2 programs by collaborating on courses that complements the knowledge and skills provided through District/County Office of Education programs. The “cafeteria” approach to identifying electives results in a Masters of Educational Leadership is customized to meet the needs of specific groups of learners, thereby making the most of every student’s educational development by providing quality content where needed and reducing redundancy.
MA, Counseling & PPSC In School Counceling
Campuses: Palm Desert and San DiegoThe Master of Arts in School Counseling program prepares you to serve as a counselor in California public schools for grades K-12 - as a crucial broker of services within the student support system. You will learn topics such as counselor roles and techniques for students of different cultures and backgrounds, ethical guidelines and legal issues, and goal setting. You’ll also learn to create and enhance programs for students that enable them to fully participate in educational and life endeavors.
MA, Special Education, Option II w. Level II Credential
Campuses: Moreno Valley, Ontario, Palm Desert and San Diego - Option 1 is geared toward students who hold a valid teaching credential or who complete education and special education prerequisites. Option 2 is intended for students who currently hold a Preliminary Education Specialist (Level I) credential and need to earn their Level 2.
MA, Special Education, Advanced Methodology
Campuses: Moreno Valley, Ontario, Palm Desert and San Diego - The Advanced Methodology emphasis allows students to complete their Level 2 coursework within the framework of a master's degree.
MA, Special Education, Autism
Campuses: Moreno Valley, Ontario, Palm Desert and San Diego - The Autism emphasis allows students to complete their autism authorization within the framework of a master's degree.

You’ll become a master of multiple subjects at the elementary school level, emerging as a certified teacher who understands that the role of teacher extends far beyond being a source of academic information.
