The Master of Arts in Education (MAE) is designed for individuals seeking career or advancement opportunities in education or related fields. Learning outcomes include: research, democratic principles, global perspectives, learning theory, curriculum design and ethics.
The Leadership in Early Childhood Education emphasis is ideal if you’re interested in becoming an administrator, director or college instructor of early childhood education programs. You’ll learn to develop innovative curricula and evaluate early childhood education programs using standards set by the National Association for Education of Young Children. Subject matter includes theories, issues and trends in early childhood education as well as the development of fiscal planning skills, marketing, human resources, and leadership skills necessary for managing an early childhood program.
Brandman University School of Education
Brandman’s School of Education is for educational professionals seeking to become transformational leaders and innovative teachers in education. To provide the most current and relevant higher education experience for students, early childhood education courses are developed and taught by early childhood education practitioners. Instructors have recent experience in a variety of ECE focused organizations, such as: First 5, California Preschool Instructional Network, State Funded Preschool and Head Start.
